Carbon Removal Credits with Biochar

In order to reach the goals set by the UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) for achieving Net Zero Carbon Dioxide emissions by 2050, the world needs removal capacity of at least 10 billion tons of Carbon Dioxide per year.

At present, the production of biochar through pyrolysis is one of the six methods recommended by the IPCC, and the one with the best shot at near term economic viability.
